1973 Javelin AMX 401, 4 Speed, Go Package

     In 1973 when everyone else was about to give up, AMX made one of the neatest muscle cars ever made.  This AMX was definitely the “King” of those cars.
This AMX left the factory with a 401, 4 speed,just about every option available.  In addition, it has the P1 black paint code and the Pierre Cardin interior.  The  car was restored in 2004 where over $25,000 was spent on refurbishing the Arizona rust-free machine.  All work was professionally done and almost all original or N.O.S.  parts were used, even the material for the Pierre Cardin interior was N.O.S.  This car has been kept in climate controlled environment and has only around 1,000 miles on it since its reconditioning.  The AMX is equipped with power steering, power brakes, a/c works great, rear defogger, Am/Fm/8 track, 401 engine upgrade, 4 speed transmission, go package, heavy duty rear end and heavy duty transmission , reverse cowl induction air system, tic-tock-tach, pierre cardin interior, airplane instrument panel, black mustache hood stripe.
    This AMX has only been touched once with A body on refresh in ‘04.  The interior and exterior are in pristine condition.  The engine compartment is in an original, but in an awesomely beautiful condition.  The underneath side of the car is in its original driver condition, with nothing ever touched on it.  We are currently cleaning and refreshing the underside.  Remember, this is an Arizona car and is requiring very little effort on our part to clean this undercarriage, but we feel that it needs to true up to the rest of the car,  so we made the decision to give it a little cleaning.  Pictures of the underside will be posted in the next 30 days.
     I think this is possibly one of the rarest and neatest AMX’s out there.  It is looking for a good home, but be prepared, because it draws big crowds wherever you go.  Also, you will probably be the only person at the car shows with one.
